The Netherlands is home to many hostaphiles and several excellent hosta nurseries. The organization promotes the use of hostas in the landscape and provides information about hosta related activities in Europe.

In Dutch, the name of the organization is Nederlandse Hosta Vereniging but they also have an English language blog entitled The Dutch Hosta Society which provides all the information in the alternate language.
