This medium size (14 inches high by 40 inches wide) cultivar was originated by Toyozo Nakayama of Japan and Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York but registered in 2009 by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) on their behalf, and is of unidentified parentage. Its foliage is dark green, heavily rippled, ovate and has a glaucous bloom on top.
