One of many seedlings of H. 'August Moon', this is a non-registered cultivar from John Van Ostrand of Illinois. It forms a large size clump about 19 inches high and a wide spreading 60 inches wide. The leaves are slightly corrugated, wavy and have a thin bloom on the bottom side. Its near white flowers bloom in July.
