This cultivar is part of the "Warwick Series" of hosta cultivars developed by Dr. Lloyd (Gil) Jones of Michigan and it was registered in 1999. It is a  hybrid of a variegated H. 'Christmas Tree' × H. 'Dorset Blue' which forms a medium size mound. The foliage is cupped, moderately corrugated and has thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
