A hybrid of a sport of H. 'Crepe Suzette' × H. 'Riptide', this cultivar
was registered by
Judy Springer of Virginia in
2014. It forms a small size (9 inches high by 18
inches wide) mound of medium green leaves that are streaked or
have a creamy yellow margin. The leaves are moderately flat and
have a glaucous bloom on top.
The registration
information says, "...margin starts greenish yellow
and goes to pale yellow with small persistent
variegated bracts..."
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...winner of the 1995
National Convention of
The American Hosta Society Savory
Shield Award as the best new seedling or sport in a tour
garden...not offered for sale."
