A sport of H. 'Viette's Yellow
Edge', this non-registered cultivar comes from
Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. The mound becomes
a large size about 19 inches high and around 42 inches wide
with slightly wavy, slightly corrugated foliage. Its pale
lavender flowers start to bloom in late July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Unlike 'Zodiac', the
margin usually does not turn completely white, staying a shade
of gold."
