This cultivar is a hybrid of a seedling of H. 'One Man's Treasure' × H. 'Mikawa-no-yuki' which was registered by Jeroen Linneman of the in 2010. It has dark green leaves that are slightly rippled, broadly ovate, moderately wavy and very shiny on top with purple dotted petioles. Deep purple flowers bloom from mid-August into September. It sets viable seeds.
