This cultivar is part of the "American Indian Series" of hostas from
Van
Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It is a non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage. The plant develops into a large size, semi-upright mound and the
leaves are heavily corrugated. The
Ute tribe is from the Great Basin of the U.S. primarily in the
area of current day Colorado and Utah.
