						medium size (17 inches high by 30 inches wide)  
						cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has medium 
						blue-green, broadly ovate foliage that is slightly 
						cupped, very slightly wavy, glaucous on top and has 
						accuminate leaf tips. Pale lavender flowers bloom from 
						mid-July into August. 
						The registration 
						materials state: "...Holds its purple blush later 
						into June...Purple blush in the spring." 
						 Uniquely Hostas says, "Hosta Purple People Eater 
						is a nod to the famous defensive line of the Minnesota 
						Vikings from the late 1960s to the late 1970s.  A nice 
						hosta with a purple blush in the spring!" 
				 Purple
