									Netherlands, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 
						'Chōkō 
				Nishiki' (formerly H. 'On Stage'). This is a large size hosta with heart shape 
						green foliage. The leaves have thick substance and are 
						moderately wavy, slightly corrugated and dull on top. 
						Pale lavender, tubular flowers with lighter lavender 
						margins bloom in July. 
						 Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, 
			
			A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms  defines the term nishiki as brocade (rich-colored woven fabric) i.e. 
			something colorful and beautiful.
