Hosta 'Toots'
 

 

This hybrid of H. pycnophylla x H. kiyosumiensis  was originated by Hajime Sugita of Japan and was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It grows to around 18 inches in height with a spread of about 40 inches.

The bright, shiny green foliage is slightly rippled, slightly corrugated and has better than average substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in August.
