This fast growing large size (22 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar which is a seedling of H. 'Ming Jade' was originated by Naylor Creek Nursery and registered by Kim Larsen of Minnesota in 2009. The foliage starts the season yellow but becomes greener by midsummer. Its tubular flowers bloom from June into July.
