This sport of H. 'Gold Standard' is from Jim Hawes of Maryland and was registered by Ron Snyder of Minnesota in 2000. It has a much narrower gold medial (center) variegation than the mother plant. The medium to large size hosta bears lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...tends to revert to 'Gold Standard' and 'Fortunei Hyacinthina'."
