This is a seedling of H. montana which was originated by Pauline Banyai of Michigan and registered on her behalf by her son, Bruce Banyai of Delaware, in 1999. It forms a large size hosta with medium green foliage. The leaves are very shiny on the bottom and have smooth texture. Medium lavender flowers bloom from August into September.
