						 According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This plant has significance as one of Kevin Vaughn's breeding
plants. Kevin found it had good fertility for a
fragrant-flowered hosta, much better than its sibling,
						'Summer Fragrance'."
It does not have a true
cultivar name but is a hybrid of "Vaughn
						Seedling 73-2" which was
						a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Beatrice'.
Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts originated this large size hosta with green foliage. This hosta bears pale
						lavender, fragrant flowers in August.
