This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Golden Delight' which was originated by Dave Chopko and registered by Bob Kuk of Kuk's Forest in Ohio in 2008. It has dark green foliage with a gold colored marginal variegation. It is a large size plant with leaves that have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.

Reminds Bob Solberg of a smaller, more compact 'Frances Williams'. It is named for Dave's wife.
