Another of the many sports of H. 'August Moon', this plant was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1995. The mound is about 20 inches tall by 45 inches wide with green foliage that has a chartreuse marginal variegation. Funnel-shaped, pale lavender flowers are produced from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...differs from others in this category by having a chartreuse, rather than gold, margin."
