Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan registered this cross of H. 'August Moon' × H. 'Aspen Gold' in 1984. It forms a medium size (16 inches high) stays bright gold even in deep shade situations. The leaves are slightly wavy and moderately corrugated. In July, it bears lavender colored flowers.
