This plant was known as Hosta 'Iwama' in Japan but we have no further information on it. From the name, it would appear to be a naturally occurring sport of the species Hosta kiyosumiensis. That would make it a small size plant with elliptical and ovate shaped leaves that come to a distinct point at the tips. It would have white flowers with purple anthers that bloom from June into July.
