This seedling of H. 'Tokudama' was originated by Maxine Armstrong of Nebraska and Anne Arett of Minnesota. It was registered on their behalf by The American Hosta Society in 1986. 'Krinkled Joy' grows to a large size plant (18 inches high by 35 inches wide) with blue-green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate with moderate cupping. Near white flowers in clusters bloom from late June into July.
