This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Captain Kirk' which was originated by Mark Zilis of Illinois and Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) . It is a medium size hosta which grows to about 14 inches in height with a spread of around 23 inches. The dark green leaves are broadly ovate, slightly corrugated and dull on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July.
