fast growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It
is a giant size hosta about 28 inches high by 62 inches
wide with dark green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves
are heavily corrugated, convexly cupped, slightly shiny
on top and has widely spaced veins. Medium lavender
flowers bloom from June into July.
The registration
materials state: "Velvety green mound with extremely
large, corrugated leaves."
According
to Google, "The Kettle Moraine is an area of varied
topography — parallel, steep-sided ridges, conical hills
and flat outwash plains, mostly composed of sand and
gravel located in Wisconsin." |
