This cultivar with a H. 'Tokudama' background was registered by
Jim Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by
Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) in 1999. It grows
into a large size hosta about 26
inches in height and a width of 53 inches. The leaves are deeply
cupped, heavily corrugated and have thick substance. Its near
white flowers bloom starting in mid-June. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The original name for this plant
was 'Blue Mug'..."
