In one source, the parent of H. 'Bye Bob' was listed as H. 'Hyuga' however, we have not been able to find a hosta by this name. We suspect that they meant H. 'Hyuga Urajiro'.

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term urajiro as white-backed or white underside.
