Registered by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan in 1995, this is a hybrid of H. venusta x H. 'Saishu Jima'. A small size (6 inches high) plant, it has lanceolate, smooth textured leaves of average substance. Purple flowers are borne on 12 inch scapes from late July into August.
