According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...'Double Gold Edger' was entered in a 1992 leaf show...later changed to 'Hairline Celebration'...in 2000 Ron Simmering of Iowa registered the same plant as 'Hawkeye Gold'."
