This cultivar which is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Blue Skies' was originated by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a medium size hosta about 14 inches high with a spread of around 40 inches with green foliage. The leaves are lightly cupped, broadly ovate and dull on top with thick substance. It produces tubular shaped flowers from mid-August into September.
