This non-registered hostas was mentioned in the Hosta Heritage Lines website as a favorite pollen parent used in the breeding program of Mike Vasey of Ohio. 

Frumious Bandersnatch was a psychedelic rock band in the late 1960s. The band was named after a character from the Lewis Carroll poem "Jabberwocky".
