This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Golden Sunburst' from Loleta Powell of Powell's Iris Haven in North Carolina. It is a large size hosta with yellow gold leaves that display green spots and mosaic patterns. Bell-shaped, near white flowers in clusters bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina sent a sample of this plant...for testing and found it to be infected with Hosta Virus X."
