Hosta 'Drews Standard'

This cultivar has H. 'Bravo' in its background and grows into a small size hosta about 9 inches high by 24 inches wide. It was registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2009. The foliage is dark green with a creamy white marginal variegation. Its leaves are slightly rippled, slightly shiny on top, slightly wavy, flat and broadly ovate with petioles that have a white edge. Striped flowers with yellow anthers bloom in July on scapes up to about 15 inches in height.

The registration materials state: "...medium to small sized hosta with good contrast between the pointed dark green leaves and the creamy white margins that radiate into the central colors of the blade..."
