Roger and Ann Bowden of Devon, England introduced this cultivar in the late 1990"s. Peter Ruh of Ohio registered it with The American Hosta Society in 2005. It grows into a small size hosta about 10 inches high and 20 inches wide. The leaves have slight marginal rippling and have thin substance. Medium purple flowers bloom in mid-July. This cultivar is part of the "Devon Series" of hostas.
