A seedling of H. 'Sea Fire',
				this cultivar was registered by
							Olga
Petryszyn of Indiana in 1998. It has heavily ruffled and puckered gold
leaves on a large size (19 inches high by 60 inches wide) mound. The foliage
emerges bright yellow but changes to chartreuse
							later in the summer. It
has a deeply lobed base and a distinctive tip that turns
downward. Lavender flowers bloom in July.

				 According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Absolutely one of the best cultivars for piecrust
				margins and corrugation...makes a tremendous gold-leaved
specimen plant. The corrugation increases in intensity as it
				matures."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Leaves do not scorch but site in light to moderate
shade where it will retain the exceptionally
brilliant leaf color...Moderate to rapid growth
							rate."
