Hosta 'Country Road'

Don Dean of Minnesota registered this seedling of H. 'Rocky Road' in 2000. It is a medium size plant about 16 inches high with a spread of around 41 inches. The dark green foliage is ovate, cupped, heavily corrugated and has thick substance. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in clusters from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Almost every square inch of leaf surface is corrugated. The densely clustered flowers, too, are an ornamental plus."
