This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Fudge Ripple' × (H. 'Blue Belly' × H. 'Bodacious Blue') which was registered by Rod Kuenster of Iowa in 2015. It is an upright growing, large size hosta about 23 inches high with a spread of around 38 inches. The intensely blue-green foliage is slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly cupped, slightly folded, slightly wavy and glaucous on top. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from July into August and it sets viable seeds. Noted for holding its leaf color all season long.
