						this medium size (18 inches high by 42 
						inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of 
						H.  'Sagae' × 
						H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. The golden-yellow leaves 
						are heavily ruffled at the margins, slightly shiny on 
						top. They are broadly ovate in shape, slightly folded 
						and slightly corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom 
						from July into August on scapes 30 to 40 inches tall. It 
						bears seeds but their viability was not known at the 
						time of registration.
 The 
						registration materials state: "...Large mound of gold, 
						ruffled leaves, deep veins and small leafy bracts...somewhat 
						more yellow as season progresses."
