According to The Genus HOSTA by W. George Schmid (1991), this is a hybrid of seedling of H. 'August Moon' from Jere Housworth of Holiday Seeds, Stone Mountain, Georgia . It is a medium size hosta (14 inches high by 24 inches wide) with dark green foliage. The leaves are heart-shape and it bears medium lavender flowers from July into August followed by fertile seeds.
