Hosta 'Astral Bliss'

This upright growing cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Cutting Edge' that was registered by Don Dean of Minnesota in 2009. It forms a small, 12 inch tall plant that spreads to about 26 inches in width with intensely blue-green foliage. The wedge shaped leaves are moderately wavy, lanceolate, slightly twisted and have thick substance. It bears lavender flowers with translucent edges in August and sets viable seeds.
