This cultivar is a seedling of an F1 seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' which was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2003. It is a giant size plant about 35 inches high by 45 inches wide with dark green leaves that have light green to yellow streaked variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
